Nationwide Outreach Programme

We travel across the Nation on a medical outreach program to cater for those with eye problems. Our main focus is on those in the deprived arears who cannot reach us.

Central African Republic is a country of 623 000 Km2 and traveling to offer our services to a poor person leaving as far as 600km to 1000km from an eye clinic is not an easy task.

Eye Screening

Screening in schools for pupils with refractive errors and providing them free  correction with spectacles

Cooperation with other Disciplines

To organize Medico-Surgical Outreach involving :

  • Cardiologist:           screening for hypertension

  • Diabetologist:         screening for diabetes

  • Internal medecine:  infectious diseases

  • Ophthalmologist:     preventable eye diseases

Can you "eat" an ELEPHANT alone?

To tackle avoidable eye diseases in Africa in general and particularly in Central African Republic, we need Multi disciplinary approach.

We need the support of leaders in our communites, clean environment, water, sanitation, good nutrition and health workers.
